We help you understand what’s going on and what to do next. And we do it in a way that puts you at the center of the process.

The right care starts with the right question.
Parents often come in feeling unsure. Is this anxiety? Is this a learning issue? Are we missing something?
Our job is to help you find clarity and move forward.
We build care plans that are thoughtful, practical, and made to fit real families.
Every service we offer is based on research and delivered by a connected team. We keep things clear and focused. We’re with you every step of the way.
What to expect.
We’ll help you understand what’s going on and what to do next.
Care that fits your needs.

From first questions to meaningful progress, our services are built to give families practical answers and support that sticks. Every step is thoughtful, evidence-based, and adapted to your child’s needs.
Psychological Assessments
When something feels off, a full assessment can bring everything into focus. We help you understand what your child is experiencing, why it might be happening, and what to do next.
Assessments are detailed, research-based, and designed to give you clear answers and useful documentation. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you. If we are, we will move efficiently and carefully.
- What you get:
- A complete profile of your child’s strengths and needs
- A clear explanation of what is going on
- A written report you can use with schools and other providers
- A practical plan to move forward
Counselling & Therapy
Therapy is hard work. But it can be the shift that changes everything.
Our counselling services are structured, focused, and include the full family. We involve parents in every step, use methods that are backed by research, and measure outcomes along the way. We help children reduce suffering, build skills, and gain a sense of control.
- What you get:
- A consistent therapist your child can build a relationship with
- Parent involvement in every session
- Measurable outcomes and progress reviews
- Support that extends beyond the session
Academic Intervention
When a child struggles with reading, it affects their confidence, learning, and progress across every subject. Our academic support builds foundational literacy skills using proven methods that help kids catch up and stay on track.
We follow proven approaches and adapt them to your child’s needs. We also give parents simple tools to support learning at home. We assess, plan, and track progress until change becomes visible.
- What you get:
- One-on-one reading support
- A plan based on real research
- Ongoing updates and feedback
- Clear guidance for practice at home
School Consultation
We work directly with schools and educators who need support for students with complex needs. Whether we are advising a school team or reviewing a single case, we bring experience, clarity, and calmness to the process.
Our team has worked in schools. We understand how systems work and what kind of documentation educators need to move forward with confidence.
- What you get:
- In-person or virtual consultation
- Clear summaries and written recommendations
- A partner who understands both family and school needs
- Flexible scheduling and trusted experience
Support for Military and First Responder Families
We have meaningful experience working with families connected to military service, emergency response, and law enforcement.
This includes children facing stress, family transitions, separation, or trauma exposure, as well as parents balancing demanding roles at work and home.
Dr. Duff has supported police officers, active-duty members, veterans, and first responders through both clinical and consultation work across British Columbia and Alberta.
That background shapes care that is structured, confidential, and grounded in understanding. If your family is navigating challenges related to service life, we provide care that respects your experience and supports your child with clarity and consistency.
